Property mandates often arise from parts of your practice beyond a private sale. Here are some of the ways attorneys generate mandates to list on App Realtors.
Attorney-mandated sales
A client appoints you directly to market their property.
Deceased estate sales
When someone passes away, their executor may need to sell immovable property to wind up the estate. As the appointed attorney, you can market these sales under the Administration of Estates Act, with the Master's consent where required.
Insolvency sales
Trustees and liquidators appoint attorneys to market and sell property forming part of an insolvent or sequestrated estate, in line with the Insolvency Act and creditor obligations.
Bank-mandated sales
Banks and other credit providers sometimes instruct attorneys directly to market a property sale, outside of a court process — giving these sales a professional, dignified shopfront.
Divorce settlement sales
When a joint estate is divided under a divorce settlement, attorneys can market the property sale on a neutral, professional basis for both parties.
